Story Behind the Invention
Inventor James P. Renz of Fort Stockton, TX has designed an elevated holder for mineral/feed blocks used to attract wild game.
Many people enjoy the presence of deer and other wild game in their yards and on their property. To draw these animals in, feeding stations can be installed with mineral or feed blocks to entice the animals to linger, feed, and ideally return frequently. While these stations are effective, they often fall victim to smaller animals that can easily feed on them from the ground. Although there are elevated feeders, they typically are not designed for mineral or feed blocks, or they need specific mounting poles that may not be appropriate for every setting and can be unattractive. But now, there’s the Protein Block Feeder!
But how does it work? Traditional ground stations are often raided by smaller animals, but with this elevated design, your mineral/feed blocks are safe and secure from those pesky invaders. No need for trees or specialized mounting poles either, the invention is easy to install and pleasing to the eye. With an added cover top, it also protects against elements like rain, ensuring your feed lasts longer.
